"One day at a time--this is enough. Do not look back and grieve over the past for it is gone; and do not be troubled about the future, for it has not yet come. Live in the present, and make it so beautiful it will be worth remembering." - unknown

Untitled

Will we ever smile again?

A lot has happened these last few days. The only thing that keeps us going, is our love for each other. I can't really say much about it due to legal matters. What a mess.....

It all started like the game we played as a child, "Telephone", that some how every thing sprung out of control; some lied, some things where taken out of context, and somethings just didn't happen.

I figure when everything is said and done. The one person who will know the truth and the only person that really matters is the one, who watches over us all.

The lord knows what took place and what happened and will watch over us and do us right at the end.

And if you don't believe in "God", most likely you believe in something, a higher power, or someone. If you don't believe in God you must still believe in right.

We still have our beliefs, our love for each other and that's something that no one can ever take away.

All we want to do at this time, is move forward and forgive those who did us wrong.

We will not hold a grudge for their faults.
We will forgive them.
We will pray for them.
We hope they will be able to move forward as well and find peace with the lord.

The Years...

Green River, Wyoming.... I don't even remember where my father is buried. That saddens me. It has been too long since I've visited him, at least 6 or 7 years. I vagely remember how to get to the cementary, let alone his grave. I am hoping when I get there I will remember... My father, oh how I miss him. He is stuck there in the dirt, all alone.

The years passes by, the memories are slowly fading. I have one picture of him. I am sure my mother has more, perhaps I shall stop by and grab some; put it in frame, on the mantel.

July 4th 1994 it has been 14 years. I remember he use to call in the mornings to wake me up for school. He would always call on time. I would get up, wake my mom and brother up and get ready for school; eat breakfast, shower and what not. I loved my father and still do. I ask myself why, many times. I have looked for answer through prayer, but at the end he is gone and I am here to wander the earth alone.

He is gone, and I am here to wander the earth alone.

Will I ever truly be healed? and be able to let go? move forward?

My father he is gone. I will cherish the 9 years I had with him and remember the moments we shared.

May 5th 2008 Sand Dunes Adventure

Great Sand Dunes National Park! This was one of the best camping trips I ever went on. It was just gorgeous.

Here's some random pictures of the Dunes
The dry river bed was just amazing. We walked all over the place.
I just loved the contrast of the mountains
Beautiful Mountains, How could you not love it here?

This would be the first time Matt and I went camping together. The camp site we had was awesome. It was our friends birthday, we all had a wonderful time; playing beer pong, sitting by the campfire, walking through the dunes, just spending time with wonderful people.
Here we are getting ready to walk on the sand

Had to first walk across the dry river bed!

Then through the sand!
Me walking through the sand!

Taking a break!

Just the two of us!

LOL

LOL, I was just asked out at work today.

I swear some men are just ballsy if that's even a word.

I guess he doesn't know that Matt and I are together.

Some new hire asked me if I wanted to learn how to play Frisbie Golf, he could teach me how to sometime one on one. I said that's okay, frisbies is something you throw and a dog catches it and I started to chuckle at him, because he was asking me right as I was walking back inside where Matt was sitting.

Before he asked me out, I was outdie with him making small talk which I do with all new hires.

Estes Park

Since Matt and I've been together. It has been a tradition to head to the hills and attend The Annual Scottish / Irish Festival in Estes Park. This year I didn't take any pictures at the festival just on the way. I love the mountains!

Things Are Coming Together

Things are falling into place. Matt and I are doing well. We are getting use to my new schedule. It's hard at times, spending every moment with each other but we are getting use to it. We get up around 11:00am get ready for work, leave the apartment around 1:45pm and get to work at 2:00pm. We are there until 10:15pm roughly unless something comes up. We get home, eat a snack, watch some T.V. I head to bed around 2:00pm and Matt follows around 3:00pm. Monday through Friday. The weekends I try to spend with my family, but I'm normally too tired and just want to sit at home and relax. This picture of us, was taken by Katy Pritchard at a wedding we attend August 2nd. She takes amazing pictures.

This weekend was great though. We had a game night Saturday. We didn't get to bed until 4:00am. Our friends left around 2:00am but I wanted to sober up before going to bed, didn't want to wake up with a hang over.

On Saturday Matt and I bought a dinning table too.
Our home is slowly becoming complete. It's a cute little table that fits four.

Today Matt and I grilled some steaks and just relaxed, a bit drained from the previous night. We didn't get up until 1:00pm and missed the Farmers Market. Which is a bummer, I really wanted some more peaches.

My cherry tomatoes are doing well. I can't wait to harvest them!

The tallest cherry tomato is 15 days old. The other ones are roughly 12 days old. The smallest one is 6 days old.

Oh, and another addition of the family that I haven't introduced is Mr. Blue. He's my Betta. I've had him for two months now.

Just looked at the clock.....

Wow it's September 1st already 12:44am, another month has passed. The leaves well soon fall and nights well become colder. Snow shall fall unto the ground and Christmas well pass by along with another year.
