Stupidness.......

So I can't see the specialist until August 4th at the Medical Center and I don't qualify for medicare because I don't have any kids. Well this is going to put me into debt..... great..... that's all a unemployed person needs. DEBT!

Pain, Pain, Pain

June 26th I noticed that below my right ear was swollen and hurt slightly. I didn't think much of it just thought it was a ear infection. So I called and set up a appointment to see the Dr. on the 30th. By the 30th I was in terrible pain and could barley move my neck. It swelled up quite a bit. I went to my scheduled appointment. The Dr. said it wasn't a ear infection but I had a infected lymph nodes. She took some blood, gave me some penicillin and pain stuff and sent me on my way. I made a follow up appointment for the 2nd.

On the 2nd the Dr. said that all my blood work came back normal so the penicillin wouldn't treat the infection she thought I had. So she then decided to give me bactrim and to call back and set a appointment if things worsen or didn't improve with the next 10 days.

Everything seemed to be going smoothly. The infection seemed to be going away.

Then BAM on the 11th the pain worsen and I started to swell on my left side also along my neck. The right side started to swell all over again as well. I couldn't even move my neck with out wanting the cry. The pain was ruthless.

So I called the Dr. and was able to set a appointment for the 14th.

So yesterday I went to the Dr. she takes one look at me and says there is nothing more she can do for me and I would have to see a throat, ear and neck specialist.

So I paid the Dr. to tell me this, very lame. At least she refiled my pain scripts which was very much needed at this point.

So now I'm just waiting for the specialist to call me. Yeah.... a very big bummer. I've been indoors out of the sun and not drinking since the 30th.

A Day In Breckenridge

I've lived in Colorado for several years now, but I'm not a skier or a snowboarder. I'm the indoor bunny type specially when its cold out, burrrrrr!

I've only went to Breckenridge once before today's trip. It was a couple years ago to visit my Aunt who was staying up in a cabin. It was winter, it was cold. We didn't really check out the town or anything.

But today I went to Breckenridge with my best bud for the Beer tasting festival. We ended up getting tired of the festival and refused to pay 35$ for a stupid cup. With my alcohol tolerance one beer does it for me. So we ended up at a Irish Pub for the afternoon.

Breckenridge I must say is a Beautiful Town! Just gorgeous! The weather was just perfect! I'm still taking my antibiotics so I couldn't be out in the sun (or drinking for that matter), which worked out perfectly because the day was shady. We walked up and down the streets and what a neat little town. Will maybe not so little. Overall a very fun day!

Love my Fridays at Left Hand!

Matt and I've been spending Friday afternoons at the range. I'm definitely enjoying the warm weather in town and the cool brisk weather up in the hills.

Here's me with the Bretta Bobcat .25 I forgot my ear protection! ouch my ear drums!

Much better with my ear protection!

Releasing the clip, All done!

Here's me with my Mossberg 702 Plinkster .22LR. The .22 is so quite that you don't really need ear protection.

Gotta love a .22, the ammo is easy to come by and very cheap!

Here's to you Dad

Here's to you Dad! I miss you dearly with all my heart. 15 years has passed and there isn't a day I don't think of you. You are in my prayers and thoughts.

My father used to sing and play his guitar for me.

The song, "Here I am Drunk Again" is one of the memories I have with him. The song is sad and he sung it with such emotion. He was always asked to play and sing at parties. He would always look at me and say "I'll only do it if my angel comes up too" and I would. We would sing into the night.

Miss you Daddy!

I said I'd never do it again I swore my way that I would mend
But you cheated dear and that's a sin here I am I'm drunk again

I'm drunk because that you are gone at the bar I'm standing all alone
Drowning my sorrows deep within here I am I'm drunk again

I don't like this life of mine drinking whiskey beer and wine
Dear I know this is the end here I am I'm drunk again

I'm drunk because that you are gone...
Here I am I'm drunk again
