Today and Tomorrow
The sun will shine once again.
The rain of sadness will eventually dry up and clear.
Over the horizon, I can see life, new growth, a future for all, and a future for me.
I am not the same person I was 5 years ago.
I will not be the person I am today, 5 years from now.
I will grow as an individual, meet new people and learn new things.
But I am who I am today and will be tomorrow.
For changes come over time.
My personality may not be liked by all.
My outlook on life and its wonders may be gloomy and negative.
But I am who I am today and will be tomorrow.
For changes come over time.
And the only thing that keep me going is the thought...
The sun will shine once again.
Hope: To wish for something with expectation of its fulfillment.
Life: Human existence, relationships.
Regrowth: An act of instance of regrowing
Future: The indefinite time yet to come.
I wrote this poem July 23rd, 2005
